The INinner values count! With the new ROTOR INPower, the measuring technology is completely and securely placed in the axis. The patented ROTOR INPower with integrated performance measurement will improve your training in quality and experience. It is one of the lightest cranks with integrated power measurement and the ideal introduction to watt-controlled training. Safe from vibrations and contamination, the positioning of the technology in the centre of the axle provides accurate and reliable data transmission. The measured data are determined by strain gauges in the left crank arm. The left crank is available as upgrade kit for all ROTOR cranksets with 30 mm axle.
The new OCA (Optimal Chainring Angle) system allows the ideal OCP (Optimal Chainring Position) adjustment of your Q-rings based on the analysis of your force within one pedal revolution. The system is only available with a 30 mm axle diameter in various Road variants and first and foremost also in four MTB variants and one CX Cyclocross variant. Data transmission is interference-free using ANT+ technology. A change of the commercially available AA battery can be carried out independently and without tools.

Battery change without tools. INpower uses standard AA batteries (Mignon / R6) which usually last about 300 hours. Rechargeable AA batteries can also be used.

The main reason for developing the aerodynamic shape of the flow using Computer Fluid Dynamics (CFD) design was the purely functional performance rather than the aesthetics. CFD is a software which can simulate a real wind tunnel test and at the same time offers the developers the possibility to aerodynamically influence a moving part of the bicycle. Despite this special optimization, the stiffness of the flow could be increased by 10%.
The aerodynamic profile of the crank arms has been optimised to take account of a changing air flow from the axle to the pedals, even during one crank revolution. In addition, crank arms and spiders were developed separately to achieve the best possible aerodynamics.
The crank arms of the Rotor Flow are made of high quality CNC machined 7075 T6 aluminium. The crank arms are drilled hollow by "Trinity Drilling" for a further weight reduction. A decisive factor in the development of the axle system was its particularly high compatibility with all common bottom bracket systems. For this reason Rotor this crank has been equipped with an ultra stiff 30mm UBB aluminium axle, which further increases the bottom bracket compatibility compared to earlier versions.
The UBB system is not standard. It combines all standards because it allows the installation of almost any 24 or 30mm Rotor crank axle in any frame regardless of the recommended bottom bracket type.
Furthermore the Flow crank is equipped with "MAS" (Micro Adjust Spider). This technology allows you to customize the Q-Ring chainring to your personal riding style. In addition, MAS Spider have a second row of holes which opens up even more possibilities for chainring alignment.
This crank is manufactured with an improved version of the unique Trinity Drilling System technology. Due to the larger contact surface of axle and crank, all three drill holes can be CNC hollow milled from the axle side of the crank arm. The result is an optimization of the wall thickness, while at the same time achieving a lower weight and a better load capacity of the crank arm.
